Cranes in Cornwall

Over the last few days a migrating flock of over 20 common cranes have been spotted in Cornwall.... and no - they have not come from Somerset!

We may also have had a few 'wild' birds in with our resident flock again at the weekend  - more on this soon.


Here's a rather poor photo of the Somerset birds taken this morning in the murky haze around the maize that has been left for them this autumn.
