To take part in the Great Crane Project web community, you'll need to register first or login to your account.

Registering is quick and easy and we do not collect or use your details provided for any purpose other than if we need to contact you with regards to a Crane Sighting you've submitted, for example.

How to register

It only takes a minute, and all you need to provide is a username (and it's up to you if it's your real name or a nickname!) and a valid email address. As soon as you've submitted the registration form, you'll receive a confirmation email, and all you need to do is follow the link to confirm.

You will then you are able to have additional functionality on the website, such as leave comments on blog posts or submit your sightings of cranes that will be added to the Crane Sightings Map.

I've already registered and have an account, why am I seeing this page?

It's because you may have tried to access a page for logged in users only but you haven't logged in to your account yet. Login using the link at the top of this page or the login link just below the menu.
The other reason is that you have logged out of your account whilst viewing a page intended for logged in users only.
