Character profile:

Yellow Red is the sibling of Yellow Green and shares a May Day birthday with Yellow Blue. As a young chick it was  fairly reluctant to follow the crane head, and would rather do its own foraging in the pen and loves to explore.  Yellow Red had some leg problems as a chick, but is doing well now, and has become one of Amy's favourites.  August: Trinny has become very clingy to us, the crane parents. She follows us wherever we go, along with Green Red and sometimes Charlie. She is a very pretty crane and is friendly to all the other birds. SEPT UPDATE:  Trinny is still quite a clingy bird - and particularly likes hanging out by the crane decoy feeding areas that are used to lead the birds out into the wider countryside. OCT UPDATE: Trinny is now a fine and well integrated member of the large flock of 33 cranes that are regulalry being seen out and about foraging on craneflies and in barley stubbles and on specially provided unharvested crop areas.
